It turns out that Barack Obama has a Flickr photostream. Grooooove on!
IT’S DARK AN IT’S RAININ’
In fact, it’s been one of those days I’ve been telling you about – the kind that doesn’t feel like a day on account of the heavy cloud cover. Kept my SAD light close by all day today, am consequently tremendously cheerful. In fact, I’m thinking that if every single member of our government had a SAD light we’d be out of this mess by Tuesday.Right now 6°C [43F], our sun came up at 9:35 am and went down at 4:47 pm.

I love that photostream! Its been amazing to follow the campaign through the photos, and I especially love the ones taken while the Obama and Biden families are waiting for the election results. That’s one of the things that I’ve appreciated very much (and cursed at times) throughout the election — the amount of images and speeches and information accessible via the interweb. Without it, we would likely never learn things like Africa = a nation, not a continent (according to Palin, of course).
It contains over 50,000 items — I stopped looking when I got to the bottom of the front page and was offered page 2002.
Yeah, I guess it’s probably safe to assume that he didn’t upload them all himself.
Thanks for the update on the Depression.
“3,000-4,000 people demonstrated on Austurvöllur, threw eggs, tomatoes and skyr” and achieved Guinness World Record for largest Icelandic omelette.
Heheh.
!! It’s like he’s a regular person, though I don’t get 700+ views and 430 comments on any of my Flickr photos…
Weird coincidence! I just discovered his Flickr page today, too. He sure looks pretty wiped out in some of those photos. Who wouldn’t be? Many more exhausting days ahead, too.
The good news is very good news, but Shrub and His Thugs still have nearly three months to loot the public purse and issue further appalling regulations, both of which are being done at a frantic pace.
I won’t even begin to relax, until after the inauguration.
