I’ve totally changed my mind about the sticky post.
It didn’t look right, and anyway, I would have had to upgrade WordPress to keep it there and I’m resolved to keep from updating WordPress for as long as I possibly can.*
Instead we have a supergorgeous little image in the sidebar. Wrow!
And if you have no idea what I’m talking about, never mind. Carry on.
I’ll be back soon to tell you all about Saturday’s demo, which was surprising in many ways. Till then!
* Because I’m technically challenged and terrified of breaking things like, um, intangible folders and files.

I saw on British TV that Iceland’s Minister of Commerce has resigned…
And with him the board of the FME, the financial regulator.
Now we are just waiting to hear from the Central bank………..
And Iceland made the front cover of this month’s Monocle issue.
Has the Central Bank said anything tangible lately?
Sigurdsson apparently said “I have decided to do this to take responsibility” and “the anger and distrust of the public is too deep for me to be able to regain their trust”, so maybe he’s setting a precedent by publicly admitting responsibility and Oddsson is taking note…
“Now we are just waiting to hear from the Central bank………..”
Do you think that Oddsson will have to be physically dragged out of that building before he resigns!?
I am not even sure if physically dragging him out of there is sufficient to obtain a resignation.
Oh, things are moving.
Alda: I would recommend you to update always to the latest official version of wordpress, since you will a sincere security problem otherwise. Updating is no wizardry (I do this quite regulary), especially if you use the auto-update possibility of wordpress 2.7.
Chris – point taken about the security issue. However, the auto-update doesn’t seem to work for me (I tried). I have to do it all manually and I’ve never done it before; hence my reservation.
Alda: Are You using a standard installation? Or did you change something in the framework? Standard is really straight forward, basically backup everything (including the database) and copy the new files. And I can offer you some help if you want to, although I am no computer wizard.
