LOVE my Helvitis Fokking Fokk shirt! A friend and I both got the long-sleeved black version and are now seeking the right event to launch the look in New Mexico. (Wish we had a protest coming up. Lord knows, we need one.)

In case anybody's undecided about ordering a shirt, the quality is great. It's nice, heavy cotton knit that should last well, and the red and white lettering really pops.

Ooooh I like! I may have to buy myself something when pay day arrives. The shipping costs to the UK aren't too bad either, if you go for the Economy rate and aren't in too much of a hurry to get your goods! I like the tote bag v. much. I think "fokk" makes a much better swearword in Icelandic than in English - it just sounds more expressive! :D

How about the journal? Think of the writing its cover would inspire. Or the apron, especially when the dinner doesn't turn out right . . . Heck, put the design on every product CafePress offers. You never know what someone wants!

Don't forget to put an ad for your new store in your right side columns so we can still find it easily even after this current post falls off the front page!

Oh, and...

I don't know what the limitations of CafePress are these days, but is it possible to produce things that are more graphic -- and are there any interesting necklines yet? Crewnecks are so repressed.

You did it!!! Brava, You. Is it possible to add to the collection a T-shirt that has long sleeves but no hood? I want it!

Failing that, I'll get one with short sleeves, but the extra warmth would be lovely.

Would writing the text in runes mitigate the similarity to English for those who are afraid of accurate translation?

(My motto lately is "What would Egil Skalagrimson Do?")

Hi Don,

I completely understand. Rest assured, we will be tweaking the contents of the store. This is just the beginning. :)

Hi Alda,
I wish you the best of luck with this new project. I'm sure you will do well.

I'd like to order a hooded sweat, but the "Fokking Fokk" just looks a bit too much like the english "F" words for me to feel comfortable wearing it. Perhaps it's me, but I can feel the glares from mothers with young children if I were to wear it in politically correct Seattle.

I'd love to buy one if you can substitute some other Icelandic phrase in place of the "F" words. The more Icelandic looking the phrase the better, but one that embodies the frustration Icelanders feel with their government. Or even one with just the Helvitus. Possible?

While I understand the origin of the phrase printed on your items, for clothing to worn in public here, the "F" word ( in Icelandic) just looks too much like the "F" word (in English), and would not be highly regarded when worn in public places where young children are present. At least here in Seattle.

A mug with the phrase would be an excellent addition.

Thanks,
Don
