Help! Something has happened to my blog

by alda on October 4, 2009

…Is anyone else seeing this site overly enlarged in Firefox? It happened last night and as far as I know I didn’t press any buttons to make it happen.

It looks normal in IE, though.

Help? It looks really disturbing …

[I'm still in Ferrara, having a wonderful yet busy time, hope to post about it very soon.]

Maybe you hit [cmd]+”+” (or whatever that is under Windows) a few times instead of a return key and made your display size larger? You blog looks fine to me, except there are no pictures of Italy yet and not comment about Iceland winning the IG-Nobel prize for Economics ;)

How utterly bizarre. Are you viewing it in Firefox?
It’s only this page that I’m seeing so big – not any others.
And as for the IG-Nobel, it’s been posted in the comments at least once … but perhaps I should post it in a regular post so people stop sending me emails about it :)

… and the pics of Ferrara – unfortunately I forgot my connector cord for the computer at home (d’oh!) so the pics will have to wait until I get back. Am heading to Venice tomorrow, so there will be lots of photo ops.

I’m in Firefox and it looks fine. Of course, it’s the next morning at this point – maybe it was just a temporary thing.

Try ctrl/cmd 0 (zero). It will reset Firefox page zoom

No problems with Firefox over here. Everything looks fine.

Looks great on my screen — and I’m running the latest version of Firefox….stop worrying about your blog and go enjoy Italy now!

I’ve had problems with sites being zoomed up too, you can reset it with ctrl-0 by default, but if it persists you can set browser.zoom.siteSpecific to false. You can access it by typing about:config to your address bar.

Keep up the good blogging!

Look’s normal here.

To zoom to the default Ctrl-0 (zero) will bring back to normal on Windows.

It looks fine in Opera and is just the same in Opera Mini on my Nokia. Have a pleasant stay.

I use Firefox, and everything appears normal!

It’s looking fine for me in Firefox 3.0.14, too – nothing’s changed!

I too see the type enlarged using Firefox (with a mac). Using Safari, however, it looks fine.

Both the home page and this post page look normal to me in Firefox 3.5.3.

Thank you everyone!! Ctrl. + 0 did it. :)
