You know the worst thing about not reading Morgunblaðið any more?
I miss the ingenious satire of my favourite cartoonist.
Halldór was not one of the ones fired from Morgunblaðið when Doddsson took over, despite the fact that he has been known to throw a punch or two. Which may be because he’s not an actual staff member [last I heard] but that they just publish his cartoons.
Be that as it may, I don’t recall seeing one cartoon critical of Doddsson since the change was made.
Luckily, there’s plenty more to satirize.

on another note, I miss your weather reports, that context of nature… how about you just look outside, look at termometer and write a few words how you feel weatherwisely?

Thank you Basia! but I’m sorry to say that after five years I’ve filled my quota of weather reports, unless I feel particularly inspired by the weather. I’ve run out of descriptive words and it’s generally become a chore. In any case, since I’m often updating more than once a day, there is no way I could end each post with a weather report.
