Foolproof heatwave remedy

Heard today, in response to the amazing weather we’ve been having:

“The best thing about a heat wave in Iceland is that, if it gets too hot, all you need to do is move to the north side of the house.”

    Well its July now Aug-Sep oh dear ! better luck next year just that 24hrs of dark days to get through and then it will be summer again right ? , you are not alone we specialize in white sky effect also. However doing slightly better temperature wise 14 deg. C right now 9 for RVK Brrrrrrrr.

    Alexander’s beach photo looks like the Med – that must be imported sand!

    James, the beaches in Iceland are not just black sand, Langisandur at Akranes and Rauðisandur (and parts of Patreksfjordur) in the southern Westfjords have sand like that.
