I have over 14 years’ experience as a freelance writer, translator, editor and interpreter, and am available for a variety of assignments.

Need to hire a pen? I have experience as a journalist, correspondent, copy writer, prose writer, travel writer and – obviously – blogger. In English only.

Need something edited? I have extensive experience in the editing of all sorts of English text, from magazine articles to manuals. Not to mention localization and adaptation.

Need something translated from Icelandic into English? I have translated books, plays, film scripts, television episodes, magazine and newspaper articles, websites, travel brochures, business reports, legislation, power point presentations, national curriculums, advertising copy, contracts, slogans, buzzwords … the list could go on. My clients include many of Iceland’s largest businesses and organizations, as well as small businesses and private individuals. I can work in both American and British English.

Need an interpreter? I have worked with both domestic and international organizations, with foreign delegations and local parties, on a diverse range of topics.
