Dear all. Those of you who are familiar with this website may have noticed a change to it in the last few days. That change has been made to reflect something that I have unofficially been doing for several years now – providing research and consulting services about Iceland.
Those of you who have followed me for a while will recall that in the wake of the economic meltdown I went abroad on a number of speaking engagements etc. to talk about the Icelandic situation. You may also know that I have written a fair bit about Iceland for the foreign media. What you may not know is that I have also worked on various other projects relating to Iceland, providing my insight and analysis in various capacities to foreign clients. These have ranged from speaking engagements, research, fact-checking, or monitoring certain aspects of Icelandic society on a retainer basis. Usually those clients have found me through the blog, the blog’s Facebook page, or through contacts. I have not especially been advertising those services – mostly because I have not had the time to take on many assignments.
That has changed, however. As of now I am actively making myself available for consultations about Iceland or research into any parts of Icelandic society. If you, or someone you know, are in need of such services, now or in the future, please keep me in mind. Also, feel free to contact me if you need any more information.
